The company has been operating for over 15 years under the authorisation of the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA). Our Approach
We provide a fully integrated platform to bring pharmaceutical products to market in South Africa and ensure their long-term commercial success. Lamar partners with licenced and certified stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle – from regulatory submissions and approval; and market entry to commercial execution and national distribution – ensuring sustainable access across both the public and private healthcare sectors.
Where clinically justified and permitted, Lamar also specialises in the sourcing and procurement of essential emergency medicines governed by South African regulatory pathways such as Section 21. This process is strictly regulated by SAHPRA to enable controlled access to essential registered medicines in urgent short supply or unregistered medicines for specific circumstances.
